In response to St.Charlie’s imperalism

Comrades, the imperialist state of St.Charlie is at it again, with his comments about the Syolian Union. With the victory of the Democratic Alliance for Freedom under His Majesty Ciprian of Juclandia, he has decided that any sort of condemnation of the victory is imperialist. However, he doesn’t see the irony because he also gets into our affairs and comments on them like it is his business. Tiana and Zealandia are great allies and are members of the Syolian Union, while St.Charlie is the nation that once occupied Tiana.

He notes that Zealandia, Burkland and Tiana have been a family-like institution, which is actually correct. However, right after he continues baseless slander against Burkland and its now parent nation Zealandia. Stating that Burkland cannot be a serious nation, despite the irony of “professionals” condemning Burkland as much as they can which isn’t unprofessional but when I do the same to Koss or St.Charlie I am butthurt, and that Zealandia’s elections are unfair despite no evidence of this being the case.

He later goes on the have the most hipocracy of any micronational newspaper I have ever seen. He pictures Ciprian as a radical young micronationalist who is being condemned by Zealandia for being radical by Syolian standards. He doesn’t see the irony because this is exactly what me and my comrade are. We are radical and don’t suck up to the imperialists who run MicroWiki, e.g. St.Charlie, and because of that we are criticized as much as we can be as “immature” and/or “election-rigging.”

Now, I am not going to get into the matter itself or whether the condemnation is correct, I am just trying to point out the double-standards used by the St.Charlian Observer for their own imperialist interests.

  1. A policy of extending a country’s power and influence through diplomacy or military force. That is what imperialism is. We have not used diplomacy to influence you, we are commenting on something. Please use your terms correctly.

    • You realize that you are trying to influence the Syolian Union by making Zealandia condemned in a hope to change its policies.

Anyways, even if the word is incorrect you haven’t actually tackled any other points the article.

      • Calling you out is not imperialism…at all…it is not forcing anything onto you or violating your sovereign rights as a state. The point of the article is what, exactly?

      • To respond to the article.

      • You say that the point of the article is to respond to the Observer, yet you state yourself that you are “not going to get into the matter itself or whether the condemnation is correct.” All you are doing in this article is stating — incorrectly so — that St.Charlie is imperialist. M. Small is correct — the article is pointless and very inaccurate.

  2. FYI, imperialism involves actual domination at the expense of sovereignty. Criticism =/= imperialism.

  3. (1) Learn what imperialism is, and that a nation is fully within its rights to criticise another nation.
    (2) Take a remedial writing class, please.
    (3) Spell words like “hypocrisy” correctly.
    (4) Try and make the titles line up: “In response to…” does not suggest a couple of poorly typed and very informal paragraphs in which contractions and phrases like “suck up to” and “butthurt.”
